Road to Andasibe
After breakfast, you leave the Highlands and head east along a winding road to Andasibe (145 Km - about 04 hours of drive on asphalt) En route, stop at Marozevo to visit the Pereyras reserve and meet its endemic species of chameleon. Lunch at your charge. Continuation to Périnet. Arrive late afternoon and settle into the hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Read more

Analamazaotra National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Analamazaotra National Park to observe the world's largest living lemur, the Indri-Indri, in its natural habitat, frogs and other friendly reptiles that populate the park. Drive to Ankanin'ny nofy
Departure for Manambato through the eastern rainforest which slowly gives way to mountainous landscapes, banana, cocoa and coffee plantations, as well as typical villages of the Betsimisaraka ethnic group. Arriving in Manambato, we will then reach Ankanin'ny Nofy after about 45 minutes of navigation. Free lunch at customer's expense. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Read more

Visit Palmarium Reserve
Visit of the Palmarium Reserve Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the private reserve of the hote). The guided tour of the reserve will take you for about 2 hours of trekking. The reserve is home to 10 different species of lemurs inserted in their natural habitat, including Indri, Sifaka, Coronato, Varécia, Variegata, Sifaka, Aye Aye. Orchids, carnivorous plants "Nepenthes", mahogany and Ravinala (traveller's palm) represent the richness of the local flora. The private nature reserve is located on a 46-hectare peninsula. Visit of Amber Mountain National Park Meeting at the hotel with the guide. Visit to the park with a certified MADAGASCAR NATIONAL PARK guide for a journey of about 2.5 hours. Evergreen forest with tropical humid microclimate, forest paths, botanical trails, waterfalls The park is home of 7 species of lemur and a variety of endemic land species that can be observed in their natural environment. Lunch at the restaurant « Le Relais de la Montagne d’Ambre, chez Maryline », ancient conial house with tropical garden full of flowers. Optional stop along the way back to a monastery from which we will enjoy a wonderful panorama immersed in an atmosphere of absolute relaxation. Here we can visit their well-kept garden of officinal and medicinal plants, from which essential oils and curative balms are obtained, according to local tradition. Back to Diego Suarez. DAY 9
Journey to the 3 bays or the Emerald sea
Excursion "Ramena and the 3 bay" About 50km of road, track sandy It is about a succession of three bays on the coast situated along the Indian Ocean. They are lined with a long beautiful white sand beach allowing a delicious bathing. Regularly blowed, the bay of Sakalava is the hangout of the windsurfers who evolve on magnificent waves. The bay of Dunes and the bay of the Pigeons are accessible from the bay of Sakalava or cap miné. Lunch in Ramena restaurant, a traditional village of fishermen bordered with white sand beach and coconuts trees. On the way back to Diégo-Suarez, we will go round the Bay of Diégo which is meant to be one of the most beautiful bay in the world after Rio de Janeiro, where a majestic sugar loaf with its conical karstic structure is towering up above the sea. OR Excursion "The Emerald sea" by private boat 45mn drive 40mn by boat Departure depending on tide and weather conditions. Transfer to Ramena and boarding on local boat. From Ramena beach you’ll sail till the small “pass”, after which you can discover the beautiful emerald sea. This immense lagoon is shallow enough to see many fishes from the boat. After 40 mn sailing you will reach Suarez island. Enjoy the white sandy beach and the blue sea. Face painting or massage with local oil will be suggested on place. Lunch will be cooked on place. Local lunch under hut. Back to Ramena the afternoon. Drive to Diego and transfer to your hotel. NB: Due to strong winds on some days and for safety reasons, excursion to the Emerald Sea is suspended from July to August. Read more

Visit of Rede tsingy and Ankarana Est
Departure of Diego Suarez, southerly direction, we take the RN6 Ambilobe south to 135 km, the residence of the king Antakarana, a region known for its plantations of sugar cane and cashews. Excursion "The Red Tsingy" with Lunch The Red Tsingy is the result of erosion by rainwater from a thick mantle of laterite. Composed of sandstone and marl, they offer their beautiful draperies ephemeral within single sedimentary basin of Madagascar. Back to the N6, drive towards Mahamasina. Lunch in a local restaurant at Mahamasina. Excursion "The Ankarana East National Park" The massif of Ankarana is known for its attractive limestone peaks locally called “Tsingy”, that extend over 20km on the west coast. Ankarana is refuge of 13 species of bats, 10 species of Lemurs and 92 species of birds. Some endemic fauna species can be discovered in this reserve, like the « Fosa », the unique lemurs predator. This animal belongs to the family of Felidae. Ankarana preserves a dense, tropical deciduous forest, spiny forests, baobabs, tall trees. Transfer to the hotel at Ambilobe. Read more
